Dr Sanjeev Chaudhry




Dr. Sanjeev K Chaudhry is presently Chief Executive Officer of SRL Ranbaxy Limited and Chairman of CSC Nutrigenomics Pte Limited, Singapore. He also serves on the Board of Directors of several companies in India and abroad.

He was the South Asia head of DuPont Solae until June 2006, a position he held for eleven years.

Dr Chaudhry has lived and worked in India, Malaysia, Singapore, UK and USA.

In 1989, at age of 30, Dr Chaudhry was the youngest professional CEO of a Public Sector Company in India. He earned accolades for turning around the ailing state owned Modern Food Industries. The plan for privatization of India’s first state owned enterprise was presented to the Planning Commission of India by Dr Chaudhry and set in motion the process of divestment of state owned companies in the country.

Prior to that (1985-88) he was the head of corporate planning at RJR Nabisco/Britannia and following that President & CEO (1990-95) of NatOleo ( a Johor Corp company). NatOleo is world’s largest producer of fatty acids and glycerin and was set up as a green field project by Dr Chaudhry.

Dr Chaudhry is a visiting faculty to several leading management institutes and universities around the world. He writes guest columns for magazines and has authored three books on value education and management.

He has a Ph.D in Business Administration from Columbia University, United States and holds a university record for Masters in Economics at Punjab University, Chandigarh.

Mr Shachindra Nath
Group Chief Operating Officer, Religare Enterprises Limited



Mr. Shachindra Nath carries the overall responsibility for managing the key operations of our group. He joined Religare in 2000. He has over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry.

He received a bachelor’s degree in law from the Banaras University, Varanasi, and a post graduate diploma in intellectual property rights from the Amity Law College, Delhi.

Mr Anil Saxena

Mr. Anil Saxena, aged 38 years, carries the overall responsibility for management and supervision of our group and has played a key role in driving its growth. He joined RSL on August 1, 2001. RSL, at that relevant point of time, was a subsidiary of Fortis Financial Services Limited, our Promoter Group Company. He received a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Delhi.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as the Institute of the Cost and Works Accountants of India. Prior to joining us, he was at Kotak Securities Limited as their Vice-President. In the past, he has also worked with Fortis Financial Services Limited and R. Singhania & Co. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.
